Putusan 726/Pdt/1998/PT.Bdg memenangkan Sumita Chandra dan menyatakan AJB 202/1982 serta AJB 38/1988 SAH DAN MENGIKAT. Putusan tersebut telah berkekuatan hukum tetap melalui Kasasi No. 3306 K/Pdt/2000 dan PK No. 250 PK/Pdt/2004.
